Your part
- Welcome prospective hikers and share published ABH events using approved copy.
- Make introductions to outdoor, wellness, hospitality, fitness, and community contacts without promising a partnership.
- Send the organizer a brief activity summary and optional public evidence link for review.
How it works
- Be 18 or older, know the community, and commit to inclusive, consent-based outreach.
- Complete an organizer conversation, brand and privacy briefing, and a review of sample outreach before activation.
- After approval, receive an individual referral link from the organizer. Hikers choose whether to record an introduction.
- Activity is recorded separately from verified output. Recognition is reviewed with your consent; no commissions or guaranteed benefits are offered.

Our shared standard
Care comes with the role.
- Welcome Black men across gay, bi, trans, queer, and allied identities. Respect names, pronouns, boundaries, ability, and pace. No harassment or pressure to disclose personal information.
- Escalate safety concerns to the organizer. Pause or turn back when conditions or the group require it; contact emergency services when needed. A title does not make someone a medical professional.
- Ask before taking or sharing identifiable photos. Respect a no, keep private meetup details and attendee contacts private, and send removal requests to the organizer.
- Use only approved ABH messaging. Captains and Ambassadors cannot sign agreements, promise partnerships, spend money, approve discounts, or speak as an official spokesperson without specific organizer authorization.
- Roles can be paused or withdrawn after review. Raise a concern privately with the organizer through ABH’s contact channel.
These are volunteer program applications. No compensation, commission, free ticket, or other financial benefit is promised. Recognition is subject to the participant’s consent.
