The clear breakdown

Community is free: get Trail Notes, upcoming-event alerts, and the public hike calendar.
The Member Pass is individual: it covers one adult, with no family or household tier. Enroll by 11:59 PM Eastern on September 5, 2026 and the $39 founding rate covers one full year from signup. After that, the only public membership price is $79 per year.
Eligible ABH-hosted day hikes are included: retreats, overnight trips, and special-ticket events are not included for free. Members may receive a discount when one is offered; transportation, parking, park admission, rentals, and third-party fees remain separate.
The Member Pass renews automatically every 12 months until cancelled. ABH sends a reminder email seven days before each renewal, with a Stripe link to manage or cancel.
An RSVP is always required, and membership does not guarantee a spot after a hike reaches capacity. Future terms and pricing may change for later terms.
